Catfish Industry

The catfish industry project provided another opportunity to implement AIT technology. The primary goal was to create a system that would allow domestic catfish industries to compete more efficiently against foreign fish suppliers. The concept involves the utilization of active and passive tags to track lots of catfish, giving producers the ability to track acceptable yield levels by the weight and grade of fish harvested. This technology also assists producers in managing and tracking lots of inventory and ingredients used in the production of catfish-based products.
