DV² is introducing users to a worldwide Internet video delivery system: a low-cost, easy to use appliance that delivers the world of Internet-based media content to your television.

DV² provides the user with either a “lean forward” viewing model, in which the user participates directly in selecting content to watch, or a “lean back” experience, where the system makes all the choices for you, based on your viewing habits and preferences.

One application of the DV² was the creation of the Cytec Cybercast System (CCS), a large-scale, enterprise file distribution system.
